Abstract. A study has been made on the stimulative effect of certain specific bacteria upon fruit body formation of rice straw mushroom (Volvariella volvacea (Fr.) Sing.) under semi-sterile condition. It was shown that the presence of specific bacteria stimulated fruit body formation of rice straw mushroom.
